MSR – Kenny Chesney – Songs For The Saints

So today on the MSR (Midnight Star Review), I would be talking about the latest album from country music superstar Kenny Chesney.  This album is a very special album that was released on July 27th, 2018 Friday.  The new cd is titled “Songs for the Saints”.  And all proceeds from sales of this album will go to Hurricane relief and the “Love for Love city” Charity that Kenny started up.

So with let’s talk about Kenny’s career and some of the 30 number ones on country music airplay charts he has recorded.  Some of the biggest hits are “Don’t blink”, “American kids”, & “Summertime”.  He has also recorded with a lot of other genre artists like Uncle Kracker, Grace Potter, & even P!nk.

So now back to this 11 track album.  What are some of the songs we can hear on this album.  We can hear Kenny Chesney’s latest number one song “Get along” which set two weeks atop the charts.  The title track “Song for the saints”, and a song with the son of Bob Marley “Ziggy Marley” titled “Love for Love city”.  And two more duets on this album like Jimmy Buffett “Trying to reason with Hurricane season”, & “Better boat” with Mindy Smith.  The stand out tracks I see on this album and you should check out are “Ends of the Earth”, & “We’re all here”.  Here is the track list now.

Track list.
1. Song for the saints.
2. Every heart.
3. Get along.
4. Pirate song.
5. Love for Love city (With Ziggy Marley).
6. Ends of the Earth.

Thanks for taking the time to read this review.  I would love to give this album a 5 out of 5 stars on the MSR (Midnight Star Review).  There are a few reasons behind that.  It is truly a perfect “Summertime” album you can listen to.  And it won’t let you down.  And also since all proceeds are going to help out a lot of people who got hit by Hurricanes.  See ya all next time.  And thanks for stopping in today for the review.
