MSR – Dan + Shay – Self-titled album

So today on the MSR (Midnight Star Review), I will be talking about the latest album from country music duo Dan + Shay.  The self-titled cd was released on June 22nd, 2018.  And there are on 11 tracks on this new album.  And now a little about the careers of Dan + Shay.

Some of the biggest hits we have heard from Dan + Shay are “Nothin’ like you”, “From the ground up”, & “How not to”.  All three have top the billboard country music airplay charts and “From the ground up” has even topped the MSR (Midnight Star Report).  Which is my weekly country music video countdown which takes GAC (Great American Country), CMT (Country Music Television), and makes them one countdown with my help.

Now what we can find on this album.  Thanks to the Highway (Channel 56 on Sirius XM) we have heard “Alone together”, & “Speechless” which is truly a stand out song on this album.  And even getting help from Kelly Clarkson on “Keeping score”.  Their lead single was “Tequila”, which is another video that Dan + Shay tackle issues with.  Another song you should check out is “My side of the fence”.  And here is the track list now.

Track list.
1. Alone together.
2. Tequila.
3. What keeps you up at night.
4. All to myself.
5. Keeping score (Featuring Kelly Clarkson).
6. Make or break.
7. Speechless.
8. Stupid love.
9. No such thing.
10. My side of the fence.
11. Island time.

And on the MSR (Midnight Star Review), I would give this album a 4.5 out of 5 stars.  This is the best album from this duo so far.  So many stand out songs on this album and you can how they grown in the country music.  Thanks for taking the time to read this review.  See ya all next time.

Set list.
Beautiful crazy.

One number away.
Bad bad news.

Hurricane.

And that’s a wrap for the set list.  So on the MSR (Midnight Star Review), I would give this show a 3.5 out of 5 stars.  It is always good to hear new music that you haven’t hear before.  And to see other artist take on songs you know.  See ya all next time.  Thanks for taking the time to read this review.
